The customer requested a review of additional lighting requirements across multiple external areas of the site, including clubhouse access roads, patio areas, direction signage, pond areas, cabin lighting, and pathway routes. Existing lighting infrastructure was reviewed to determine suitable supply arrangements for simultaneous operation with current installations. Proposed lighting positions and infrastructure routes were assessed during site visits and aerial photography.

Diagnosis & Technical Assessment

Site attendance was completed to review existing external lighting infrastructure and assess suitable supply arrangements for proposed lighting additions across the property. Drone aerial photography was used to document the surrounding layout and to support positioning assessments for bollard, flood, swan-neck wall, pond, and cabin lighting systems.

Existing bollard circuits and lighting supplies were reviewed to determine whether simultaneous switching could be achieved using the current installation. The nearest bollard joint and existing contactor enclosure were identified as potential supply connection points for the proposed bollard extension works. Existing duct systems and accessible manholes were also reviewed for potential cable routing to illuminated direction signage.

The clubhouse patio area was assessed using the existing consumer unit arrangement, in which a spare way was identified to supply additional swan-neck lighting fittings. Existing photocell-controlled lighting systems were referenced for coordinated operation of the proposed additions.

Cable routing methods were considered for underground SWA installation, including pathway-crossing options and trench routes around landscaped areas. Existing floor lighting supplies were also reviewed for the proposed disabled-ramp downlighting installations.

Solutions delivered

A structured lighting review and proposal assessment was completed, covering multiple external lighting upgrade areas across the site. Proposed layouts were prepared for bollard lighting extensions, patio wall lighting, directional flood lighting, pond perimeter lighting, cabin lighting, and disabled ramp downlights.

The proposed lighting arrangements were designed to integrate with existing lighting circuits to maintain simultaneous operation and coordinated switching across the site. Existing infrastructure was prioritised where suitable supply points and control systems were already available. Proposed underground cable installations specified SWA cabling to be installed below finished ground level, with warning tape protection above buried services.

Alternative routing methods were considered when pathways or landscaped areas restricted direct cable installation. Existing duct systems, contractor enclosures, consumer units, and photocell controls were incorporated into the proposed infrastructure planning where suitable to ensure operational continuity.

Aerial site imagery and lighting position documentation were prepared and issued to the customer together with initial fitting suggestions for further review and confirmation.
